Aztec athletes keep up their strength and endurance with at-home workouts

El Dorado athletes still continue to work during this pandemic. These photos highlight how workouts are going for those who can’t go on campus yet and must work out on their own time. Athletes’ feelings about this form of practice varies; some love it and some hate it.

Balling like no other! Junior Nahomi Magallanes has been practicing her shooting and her dribbling. Since this lockdown happened, she can’t go out and practice like she used to, so her handles were a little bit off. “This pandemic has affected me in many negative ways, like getting depression and anxiety, but I always look at the positive things, like working out.”
