Funny, action-packed and full of surprises — these are just a couple of words that describe “Big Hero 6.” From Walt Disney Studios (the creators of “Frozen” and “Wreck-It Ralph”) comes a family movie that is great for all ages. The story takes place in the futuristic city of San Fransokyo. Hiro Hamada (voiced by Ryan Potter) is a genius that participates in robot battles. Using his genius, Hiro and his five friends, Go Go Tamago (voiced by Jamie Chung), Wasabi (voiced by Daman Wayans Jr.), Honey Lemon (voiced by Genesis Rodriguez), Fred (voiced by T.J. Miller) and Hiro’s robotic companion Baymax (voiced by Scott Adsit), fight the forces of evil and bring peace to the city.
This is a great movie. It has a sad, yet gripping story and really colorful characters. The story has many twists and turns and has some pretty intense action scenes. The story is really good and will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout most of the movie.
It is an amazing movie, but sometimes it can be pretty predictable. You can usually tell what is about to happen next. Although the story is original, the way it is told is not.
Overall it is a great movie. It is actually one of the best family movies of this year. If you are going to watch it, I recommend watching it with your family. I can guarantee you are going to have a good time. I give “Big Hero 6” four stars out of five.
