TAFE donates teddy bears to Children’s Hospital

In their 7th annual fundraiser, TAFE collected more than $1,500 from around the community bought more than 60 teddy bears from the Build-A- Bear workshop on April 5. The group of future educators than delivered the bears to El Paso Children’s Hospital.

“We put a lot of hard work into this,” said senior Naomi Silva. “ It’s nice to give them some comfort at their time of need. When their parents aren’t there to give them the comfort they need, it’s nice to know that the bears that we made for them can do the job.”
