The El Dorado Lady Aztecs took on the Socorro Lady Bulldogs at home Tuesday. The girls have been on a roll as of late, and they looked to continue that winning streak.
And they did just that.
The Aztecs dominated through three games, winning all three by 10 points or more. Junior Victoria Pearson had a lot to do with their win, with multiple spikes that ended up extending their runs throughout the game.
The Aztecs now look to turn their attentions to the Franklin Cougars, who only have one loss in district play, and sit in second place, while the Aztecs sit in third. Only two of their three losses came in district play, but the ladies have not had much success this season against the Cougars.
Today’s matchup against the Cougars starts at 6:30 p.m. at Franklin High School.
