It’s A Block Party

It’s A Block Party

What to wear to ‘Trapfest

By Alexus Rios

On Sept. 24, where will you be? El Paso, it’s time to party.

Downtown El Paso’s annual Trapfest Block Party is here and in full effect. Between the streets of N. Mesa and E. Main Street music producers Yellowclaw, San Holo, Cesqeaux, and Mike Cervello will be taking over this event and you don’t want to miss.

For many students, it will be their first time attending. If you don’t know already – you’ll need to buy your ticket, figure out who you’re going with and plan your outfit. It seems like a lot, but not to worry, here’s a guide on what to wear.

Girls’ Outfit

Tops:

Go simply with a cute, black bodysuit.

Forever 21 – Side Lace Up Bodysuit ($15.90)

Bottoms:

Shorts and jeans go with everything.

A’Gaci – Kelly Denim Shorts ($10.99)

Shoes:

Any shoe would look great – it’s more so all about comfort. I personally like Converse; they’re cute, comfy and easy to maneuver in.

Converse – Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Low Top ($50.00)

Accessories:

Body jewelry, body chains, and glitter or jewelry that sticks to skin.

Boys’ Outfit

Tops:

Guys are very simple, so luckily H&M has a great selection of casual shirts and shorts.

H&M – Black tank top ($5.99)

Bottoms:

Comfy and casual is always the best way to go.

H&M – Cotton Shorts Khaki Green ($12.99)

Shoes:

Just like the girls, Converse are very versatile and made for anyone.

Converse – Chuck Taylor All Star Low Top ($50.00)

Accessories:

Bandana (a must), and bucket hatsphoto-1photo-2
