Will Taylor Swift sweep up the coveted Moonman awards?

Make sure to tune in on Sunday for a night full of unforgettable performances and surprising recipients during the 2015 Video Music Awards hosted by none other than Miley Cyrus. There are 15 different categories, which means there will be 15 different Moonman awards given out. The awards go out to not only the singers and artists, but also to the masterminds behind the microphone that no one really recognizes.
Ed Sheeran, Nick Jonas, the Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar and Mark Ronson, featured with Bruno Mars, are all the nominees for the best male video award. I think the obvious male winner of the night is Ed Sheeran, with his leading nominations on his hit single “Thinking Out Loud.”
The best female video is one of the hardest categories to pick a winner from, considering it has Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Sia and Ellie Goulding. The two nominees most likely to win are Taylor Swift with “Blank Space” and Beyonce with “7/11.” For my personal favorite award, best hip-hop video, Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth for “See You Again” is going to be Sunday night’s award winner.
MTV has also released the list of artists who will perform at the ceremony. It includes The Weeknd, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Demi Lovato, Pharrell and Kayne West. In addition Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and Bruno Mars are said to be some of the artists to watch Sunday night. For the biggest award of the night, which is always announced last, people have their money on “Bad Blood” by Taylor Swift, featuring Kendrick Lamar, as winning Music Video of the Year. However, she will be going against other talented artist like Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Kendrick Lamar and Mark Ronson with Bruno Mars. Everybody knows that Taylor Swift is the most talked about artist today, for better or worse. I think it’s inevitable that she will be honored with the Moonman for the biggest award of the night.
