UTEP Awards 396K to Aztecs

With 34 students receiving a scholarship from UTEP, El Dorado was awarded more than any other school in the city by the home of the Miners. A total of $396,000 was given out to students at El Dorado, ranging from $1,000 a year for four years, to $8,000 a year for four years. Senior Christian Tiscareño received the presidential scholarship, receiving $8,000 a year with a grand total of $32,000 for four years. Students were awarded in the small gym on Wednesday.
