Fenty Beauty embraces all skin types with new foundation

Fenty Beauty is a new makeup line by Robyn Rihanna Fenty, better known just as Rihanna. With the goal of matching excellent foundation to any skin tone, the Barbadian singer released her new beauty line earlier this month and it has skyrocketed in popularity, especially with students.
“I like this foundation because it dries really fast,” said sophomore Michelle Rodriguez. “I bought it because I saw that it was all over Instagram. I was curious to see how well it really worked.”
There are forty different shades of Pro Filt’r foundation created specifically for people with hard-to-match skin tones, such as albinism. Shades range from the lightest, 100 Neutral, to the darkest, 490 Cool. Rihanna created formulas that work for all skin types, something that has not been done before.
“Fenty Beauty was created for everyone: for women of all shades, personalities, attitudes, cultures, and races. I wanted everyone to feel included. That’s the real reason I made this line,” said Rihanna in a statement from the product’s website.
There are a variety of skin tones out there, and it can be difficult to find your perfect match when there are only ten shades on the shelf of a drug or makeup store.
This makeup line is also revolutionary because she uses models with different ethnicities and backgrounds. Unlike some makeup lines that use girls with the same race. It also helped women of all ethnicities feel empowered and confident in their own skin. Not only did Rihanna create a makeup line, she created a movement. For example, when the line came out girls from all over the world felt recognized and appreciated for their unique skin tones because they finally found a foundation that matches. No longer do you have to mix foundations to get that perfect shade.
Rihanna did just that.
